本研究採用模型實驗方法,探討支撐基腳貫入土壤之承載力及土層破壞機制。本研究使用交通大學支撐基腳模型試驗設備進行試驗,該設備包含以下4個部分:試驗土槽、支撐基腳、垂直荷重加載系統、及資料擷取系統。為模擬自升式風機安裝船伸腿時spudcan貫入海底土層之行為,本研究在試驗土槽內備製長900mm、寬450 mm,高900 mm之疏鬆渥太華砂試體,進行spudcan垂直加載試驗,將直徑300mm的半支式模型基腳貫入飽和疏鬆砂土層。試驗結果顯示,在基腳貫入飽和砂土試體達60mm之後,隨著貫入量的增加,spudcan承受之支承力緩慢增加,此結果符合貫入剪力破壞模式行為。當spudcan貫入量到達120 mm時,模型實驗結果、ABAQUS數值分析結果、及SNAME設計手冊之計算結果,三者符合良好。

In this study, the bearing capacity of a spudcan under the jack-up turbine installation vessel was investigated with model tests. The spudcan model test facility at National Chiao Tung University was used for the experimental study. The facility consisted of the following parts: soil bin; model spudcan; vertical loading system; and data acquisition system. To simulate the penetration of spudcan into the seabed soils, a 900 mm-long, 900 mm-high, and 450 mm-wide sandy specimen was prepared in the soil bin. A vertical loading was applied on the half-spudcan model with a radius of 300 mm, to penetrate into the saturated loose soil. Test results indicated, after the penetration distance of 60 mm, the bearing capacity of the spudcan increased slowly with increasing penetration distance. This finding indicated the existence of a punch shear failure mechanism. At the penetration of 120 mm, the bearing capacity values obtained from the model test, ABAQUS numerical analysis, and SNAME design manual were in fairly good agreement.
